Challenged with the task of spray drying a customers’ API or biological, we immediately work to identify the best approach to create a stable, active formulation.

 

However, it is sometimes the case that additional technologies may be required to produce a formulation with the desired product profile.

With this in mind, Upperton is continuously adding to its research and development capabilities, which means that we can now offer a range of additional technologies to compliment our basic spray drying service.

As well as spray drying we can now offer an additional range of techniques to our clients. The list is extensive and examples include;

  • Freeze drying
  • Blending/sieving
  • Granulation
  • Fluid energy milling
  • Tabletting/capsule filling

All of which means that Upperton offers the customer the most rapid, cost effective solution for producing dry powder formulations for our customers.
